Responsibilities:
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:
- This position is responsible for performing tasks or overseeing resources to develop design solutions, store fixture layouts and provide production drawings for new, relocation, expansion and remodeled TJX Canada stores based on predetermined schedules and design standards. This position is also responsible for maintaining archived drawings (physical, virtual, samples) and to participate in the overall development and maintenance of the Store Design processes.
- Provides Design & CAD functions to develop design solutions, fixture, and merchandising layouts for stores. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to reviewing tender, permit, construction, and signage drawings. As well as responding to design queries and site clarifications as needed.
- Provides Landlords/Developers/Vendors with shell & interior building requirements based on the latest store design criteria.
- Updates and maintains project schedules, ensures all projects are completed in agreed upon timelines and to predetermined standards.
- Provides a regular review on all assignments to Management team.
- Maintains archived drawings and resource library.
- Supports all departments in the planning and execution of all initiatives.
- Performs other ad-hoc assignments as identified by Management.
