Amorino Boston is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard-working Manager to supervise its Newbury Street location in Boston. As a Manager, your job will be to work closely with the Owner but with large autonomy in the management of the store. You will be responsible for the customer experience and quality of the service, for the team management and empowerment as well as all other general administrative duties. This position does not necessarily require previous experience, the attitude is more important.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Food service management experience is a plus
  • A Food Protection Manager Certification is a plus
  • Great communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude
  • Ability to Manager a team of 20 people
  • Ability to listen, learn, take direction from leadership
  • Provide good employment references
  • Commitment to good hygiene and professional appearance
  • Has strong organizational skills
  • Being detail oriented, autonomous and perform well without daily supervision
  • Driver licence is required

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Maintains store staff by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; as well as ensuring team calls/events
  • Complete store operational requirements by scheduling employees
  • Process bi-weekly reports and administratives tasks
  • Achieves financial objectives by following the annual budget; scheduling expenditures; Managing Cost of Goods expenditures; initiating corrective actions
  • Identifies and manage new opportunity for business and turnover increase
  • Ensures availability of merchandise by maintaining inventories and placing orders
  • Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans
  • Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
  • Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements
  • Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
  • Ensures the store is clean, organized, and welcoming to customers
  • Builds and maintains relationships with customers, suppliers, and the local community
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the owner
