- Education and Experience: Minimum GCE O’level or equivalent required; a degree in business or retail management is preferred. Previous experience in retail, such as assistant manager or supervisor roles, is highly desirable.
- Retail Knowledge and Skills: Minimum 5 years in retail industry with minimum 3 years in the Store Manager role. Understanding of retail operations, sales techniques, merchandising, and customer service principles. Familiarity with inventory management and retail software.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team, provide clear communication and feedback, delegate tasks, and solve problems.
- Sales and Business Acumen: Proven track record in achieving sales targets, analyzing sales data, and implementing strategies for growth. Financial management skills and knowledge of budgeting and profitability analysis.
- Customer Service Focus: Commitment to exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and complaints, and building customer relationships.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage store operations, inventory, and staff scheduling. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Abilities: Ability to identify and resolve issues, think critically, and make sound decisions.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Adaptability to changing circumstances and multitasking effectively.
