Description:
Mr Price - Gateway, Umhlanga :- To ensure that your store is risk and admin-compliant. You will work collaboratively with the Area and Store Manager to drive continuous business improvement to enhance our customers’ experience and maximize profitability. You will oversee the admin side, mobile POS, and Dayforce as part of your daily responsibilities.
Qualifications: Grade 12
3+ years’ experience in a store management position - focusing on Risk & Compliance.
Solid Leadership Skills
Budgeting knowledge.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Effective Communication skills.
- Business understanding of retail trade, Company Audit Processes, Risk evaluation.
Responsibilities: Administration:
Manage losses within 0.7% of sales, including write-offs, and report exceptions to the Store Manager.
Implement strategic plans to minimize shrinkage in line with Stock Loss policy, reporting exceptions to the Store Manager.
Conduct regular stocktakes and cyclical counts as per operational requirements.
Achieve Mark Down targets and maintain Data Integrity at the company standard of 90%.
Enforce security procedures, ensuring they support customer service, and report any exceptions to the Store Manager.
Oversee Dayforce operations daily, handling exceptions.
Ensure all store administration adheres to policies and procedures.
Assist Store Manager in conducting store assessments to achieve acceptable results.
Manage Como reports weekly, submitting exceptions to the Regional Risk Administrator every Monday.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Conduct maintenance checks and take necessary actions.
Profit:
Ensure that all controllable expenses for the store is managed in line with budgets.
Report to Store Manager any possible deviations from store budget.
Innovation:
Analyse and challenge processes to identify better ways of working with regards to Systems & Procedures, Dayforce Efficiencies and MPOS
People:
- Ensure Inductions, Training & Development is at optimum level.
