Description:

The Store Keeper is responsible for the proper management, storage, and tracking of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) materials and equipment used in construction, maintenance, or projects. This role ensures that all materials are efficiently stored, distributed, and accurately recorded.

  • Education: Bachelor Degree or additional certification warehouse management, or inventory control is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in managing construction materials, particularly MEP-related items, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MEP materials, equipment, and tools used in construction and maintenance (HVAC, electrical components, plumbing systems).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Inventory Management of Materials: Maintain accurate records of all MEP materials, including pipes, fittings, HVAC equipment, electrical cables, switches, wiring, plumbing fixtures, and tools. Track the movement of materials in and out of the store using inventory management systems or manual records. Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking of MEP materials.
Issuing Materials: Issue materials and equipment to site personnel or contractors as per requisition forms or project needs. Maintain accurate records of issued materials, including details on the quantity, recipient, and date. Coordinate with MEP engineers and project managers to ensure timely and efficient material allocation for ongoing projects.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit regular reports on stock levels, requisitions, material issues, and equipment usage. Assist in preparing periodic stocktaking and reconciliation reports. Ensure all documentation, such as purchase orders, delivery receipts, and material requests, is accurately filled and stored.
*Immediately available to begin work (Visit Visa /Notice period) is an added advantage.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
