Stagecoach Manchester are looking for a Storekeeper for Stagecoach to work in our Manchester Queens Road Depot
Reporting to the Fleet Engineer, the primary duties in this role are ensuring our stores hold essential part, reordering stock as required and liaising with our suppliers. be responsible for security of all stores held on site while ensuring the material in held in a safe and proper manner. Have Good Communications skills and be self-motivated.
The ideal post holder should ideally have stores background however, training will be offered to the right candidate. Have knowledge able to use word, excel EAM’s
- Be able to use and understand parts catalogues and online portals
- Source parts and material
- Undertake Stock Checks & ensuring correct stock levels as agreed
- Responsible for the health & Safety within workshop
- Maintain computer paper records of stock received, held, and issued
- Liaise with Fleet Engineer/supervisor regarding parts immediate/planned
- Able to safely lift packages and parts
The role is primarily Monday - Friday, 38 hours a week
A clean driving licence and fork truck licence are desirable but not essential.
