About the Role
We are seeking a hard-working all-rounder with experience in forklift operation and deliveries to join our Operations team in Croydon, Victoria. This is a casual role, requiring availability Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with occasional Saturday mornings during peak periods. All overtime and weekend work is paid at penalty rates.
Key Responsibilities

AS A STOREPERSON/DELIVERY ASSISTANT, YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

• Assisting the Delivery Driver in transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely delivery and optimal condition on arrival
• Loading and unloading goods—including some physically demanding work
• Completing and managing delivery documentation
• Providing professional customer service at all times
• Supporting continuous improvement in collaboration with the team and management
• Adhering to Work Health & Safety Regulations, including proper PPE usage to prevent injuries
  What a Typical Day Looks Like
  Your day starts at our Croydon warehouse, where you’ll help load the truck with staircases for delivery. The Operations Manager pre-schedules delivery routes to ensure efficiency. Once onsite, you’ll assist the Delivery Driver in unloading orders according to our two-person lift policy. After all deliveries are completed, you’ll return to the warehouse to perform any necessary truck maintenance and, if possible, pre-load for the following day.
  About You

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

• At least 12 months of experience in a similar role
• A valid forklift licence and minimum 12 months of experience operating a multidirectional forklift
• A valid White Card (construction safety induction card)
  The successful candidate must also provide a satisfactory National Criminal History Check and pass a Pre-Employment Medical before starting.
