Fresh Meats is a leading supplier of meat products to restaurants in Queensland, based on the Sunshine Coast. We deliver to customers across the state and also operate a retail store in Maroochydore. We have warehousing in 3 locations: Maroochydore, Kunda Park and Brisbane.
This individual is solutions-oriented, hands-on and works well independently to see the job through to completion. You have initiative to plan ahead, are organised and systematic, work collaboratively with others to achieve the shared company goals and have the drive and determination to close out.
Shift is approx 6am to 4 pm. This is a full time position.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience with warehouse and logistics is preferred. The right candidate:

• has the willingness and stamina for physical workload
• Is capable of moving heavy pallets with a pallet jack
• Has licence and experience with walk behind forklift
• Feels comfortable with changes of demand and can pivot as needed
• Is proactive in finding solutions to always close out and finish the job
• Has basic IT literacy (email, touchpad devices) and an openness to learn new programs

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week

The main activities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain order and cleanliness of warehouse and systems
• Unload/load products transported to/from other Fresh Meats facilities/suppliers/customers
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently
• Scan products properly and build pallets

• Implement of WH&S initiatives and ensure the safety of all team members, suppliers, and contractors.
• Ensure all legislative, Food Safety and HACCP compliance regulations are adhered to.
• Communicate closely with Operations, Logistics and Management to ensure overall shared objectives are achieved
