QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Background: GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with hand tools and proficiency in basic math for effective inventory management. Forklift operation skills and certification are highly desirable.
  • Professional Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, particularly in shipping and receiving, is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Based in Aston Clinton this is a full time role withing the Operations Team. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing the storage and distribution of materials, components and some assemblies. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform various tasks related to warehouse management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inventory Management: Accurately maintain inventory records using the Infor LN stock control system.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Facilitate our shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in verifying shipments against purchase orders and documenting all delivery information in our ERP system.
  • Quality Control: Actively participate in stock counting and report any discrepancies to maintain the integrity of our inventory.
  • Safety & Organization: Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular risk assessments to ensure a safe workplace for all.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the buying and expediting team to manage component supplies and contribute to meeting our daily operational goals.
