Oxfordshire Projects is currently looking to recruit Storesperson to work on our Projects throughout Oxfordshire.
As the Storesperson you will be part of our operations/project team who are responsible for delivering major projects throughout Oxfordshire .

As the Storesperson your duties & responsibilities will be:

  • Set up and manage stock lists and manage levels
  • GRN when materials received
  • General cleaning / maintenance of site welfare
  • Loading and unloading van/lorries
  • Taking deliveries and storing materials in container and office
  • Setting up, maintaining and removing herras and pedestrian fencing throughout site
  • Setting up / Maintaining site compound and small welfare units on site.
  • Undertake minor site welfare repairs
  • Management of waste on sites to ensure compliance
  • Maintain fuel / water levels where appropriate
  • Ensure yard is kept tidy and site rules adhered to
  • Small other duties deemed necessary from time to time

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Clean driving licence, HGV class 2 preference
  • CSCS card
  • Previous Storeman/handyman experience preferred but not essential
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Organised approach
  • Willing to work in all weathers and unsociable hours as required
  • Experience of working on the highway
  • Experience/certificated to operate small plant preferable but not essential
