WHAT WE NEED:

We are looking for a Straightener that inspects forged parts and use a variety of hand tools, presses, and devices to straighten the parts according to their specifications.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Will use a variety of hammers and fixtures, hand straighten to meet blueprint specifications or to flatten, level or even up parts.
  • Set up and operate presses to straighten forgings.
  • Use tools to check the dimensions, curves and angles of parts.
  • Maintain freezer log book.
  • Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per the job-specific travelers.
  • Maintain proper storage and care of straightening fixtures and tools.
  • Work safe and maintain an organized, clean work environment.
  • Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.

  • On-the-job training will be provided for this position.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior experience as a Straightener or in a manufacturing role preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
  • In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
  • English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
  • Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.
    Compensation: $19.00 - $21.75 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs
