Description:
As the Supervisor - Strategic Account Operations, you will be responsible for providing operational support while managing value-added services for an assigned customer base in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. You will deliver services to enhance business performance, optimize service levels, boost productivity, and uphold high-quality standards while partnering with leaders across Sales, Program Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and various business units. You will champion continuous improvement and achievement of both internal and customer goals. You will report directly to the Strategic Account Manager or Operations leadership depending on the assigned customer base.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree - Business or related field or equivalent education and experience required; Master’s Degree preferred
- 3 years in Sales or Program Management Operations
- Ability to initiate and develop relationships with key customers and contractors to achieve objectives
- Strong Negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Able to oversee people and processes to achieve objectives
- History of success maintaining and developing key relationships
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods and coordination of people and resources
- Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure
- Experience in executing in a matrix organization managing multiple stakeholders and projects
- Knowledge of industry including suppliers, customers and competitors preferred
- Ability to travel 0% - 25%
Responsibilities:
- Oversees and manages several functions tied to value-added services for key client whom perform work on at customer locations; these programs include, but are not limited to consignment programs, vending programs, and vendor managed inventory, billing/reporting
- Manages processes related to data exchange with customer/partners while maintaining data integrity
- Works with the Sales team to create and support the execution of the strategic account plans at key, named accounts
- Maintains existing relationships with priority customer stakeholders, understands key business issues, and recommends ways to deliver value
- Communicates customer activity and strategic plan progress to management
- Participates in solution development efforts that best address customer needs
- Engages supplier sales resources to enlist their support and create solutions
