REQUIREMENTS:

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree Program; normally requires a minimum of six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

  • Must be self-motivated, work independently under general direction and able to handle sensitive and highly confidential information with complete discretion
  • Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure of deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Liaison between external Buying Group or Key Account team and internal cross functional teams i.e. Credit, Customer Implementation, programs teams, reporting team, generics team, for information and issue resolution
  • Coordinate contract updates across internal teams
  • Perform regular validation of account setup to identify differences and reduce company exposure due to inaccurate set up
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly rebate reviews, approvals, tracking, process of manual rebates and assist with issue resolution with internal teams
  • Monitor new and converted Buying Group Account or Long Term Care Key Account activities for upper management utilization
  • Creates best practices in processes, works with Buying Group or Long Term Care team to improve sales effectiveness, communication and training
  • Makes suggestions and recommendations to team to continually improve operations
  • Play a key role to develop a field communication process; help design and craft new buying group initiatives
  • Enhance profitability of buying group membership or Key Accounts through program utilization review
  • Assist with a variety of scheduled and unscheduled projects occurring in the department at any given time
  • Continuously monitor, assesses and identify strategies to improve best practices
  • Maintain internal standard operating procedures for individual Buying Groups and Long Term Care Key Accounts
  • Must be willing to travel several times a year
  • Performs related duties as assigne
