Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Strategic Account Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work with a diverse team of professionals. In this role, you will support the accounts department in managing client accounts, analyzing financial data, and assisting in business development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of account management processes, contributing to the overall success of our organization. Assisting with client data entry, record management, related documentation and draft routine correspondence. Your flexible approach and well-developed organizational skills will assist in the completion of various other responsibilities including, client communication, photocopying and other duties as required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Educational Qualifications:
· Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent education.
· A degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
· Proven experience in account management or a related field is preferred.
· Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Familiarity with sales processes and business development strategies is advantageous. - Technical Proficiency:
· Strong knowledge of Google G-Suite applications and Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
· Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is an asset.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. - Communication Skills:
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Above average attention to detail, formatting, grammar, and proofreading abilities. - Professional Experience:
· Experience in a similar administrative or support role (preferred but not required). - Licensing:
· Completion or willingness to complete the Life Licensed Qualification Program (LLQP).

Responsibilities:
- Communication and Coordination:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for advisors, teammates, clients, and external partners.
· Ensure the timely and accurate flow of communication and maintenance of records.
· Assist in managing client accounts and maintaining accurate records.
· Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and resolve issues.
· Analyze financial data to provide insights for business development strategies.
· Support the sales team by preparing reports and presentations related to account performance.
· Negotiate terms with clients as needed, ensuring mutual satisfaction.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance account management processes.
· Stay updated on market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
2.Calendar and Meeting Management:
· Manage the advisor’s calendar by scheduling and organizing meetings.
· Take detailed notes during meetings and share summaries or action points as needed. - Task Management:
· Monitor and prioritize tasks to ensure the most critical matters are addressed.
· Send reminders for overdue items and track follow-ups effectively. - Process Improvement and Documentation:
· Continuously identify and implement workflow and process improvements.
· Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency. - Document Preparation and Communication:
· Format information for internal and external use, including memos, emails, presentations, and reports.
· Provide administrative support such as drafting, editing, and proofreading communications on the advisor’s behalf.
