At Roche Diagnostics Mexico, the sequencing area is experiencing significant growth, and we are looking for a Business Developer to play a strategic role in implementing the plan to drive the sequencing portfolio Foundation Medicine (FMI/Avenio). This key role focuses on promoting our solutions to relevant stakeholders, including doctors, oncology centers, and hospitals, with the goal of expanding the diagnostics business and strengthening Roche’s presence in the Mexican market.
The Opportunity
- Map, identify, and verify market needs and opportunities related to the assigned portfolio, focusing on the most relevant accounts.
- Drive the growth of the sequencing portfolio (FMI + Avenio) by developing new business opportunities and identifying follow-up actions.
- Establish strong and direct relationships with potential customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), contributing to business expansion.
- Develop and execute an “Account Strategic Plan,” aligned with strategic tests and in collaboration with other Roche areas and interdisciplinary teams, to meet customer needs.
- Conduct visits to healthcare professionals, such as oncologists and geneticists, to effectively position clinical messages and coordinate with the FMI Medical Manager during visits.
- Prepare and present commercial offers to key decision-makers and provide specialized technical advice on Avenio/FMI for laboratory implementation.
- Ensure availability for travel and allocate 80% of time spent in the field to support sequencing solutions and business development activities.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Previous experience in commercial roles.
- Proficiency in the local language, Spanish, and a high level of English.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Proficiency with Google Slides/PowerPoint, Google Sheets/Excel, Google Documents/Word, Trello, Miro Board, Jamboard, Tableau.
