WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Sales experience: You will have extensive experience in a sales role, overperforming against targets. This experience will be with a consumer/customer-facing B2B SaaS product.
  • Proven track record: You will have proven your ability to work with large multinational clients, for example FTSE 100/S&P 500 companies
  • Commercially driven: You will be focused on delivering customer growth, along with planning and managing pipeline for your account base
  • Results focused: You will be driven to achieve targets, with a high degree of comfort with tangible goals and a strong desire for success.
  • Communications: You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Service Orientation: You will have the confidence, knowledge and skill to facilitate broad-ranging conversations with customers and senior stakeholders on the benefits of Learning Pools products to support their organizational future strategy.
  • Presentation skills: You will be able to present complex information concisely and clearly to audiences ranging from senior management teams, learning and development professionals and end users.
  • Organizational skills: You will have exceptional attention to detail as this will be essential to ensuring you keep tasks on track and take ownership for ensuring Learning Pool commitments are met.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Customer Account Executives (CAEs) play a crucial role in growing long-term, transformational customer relationships in our strategic customer segment, across a broad range of private and public sector customers. As a Strategic CAE, you will be responsible for the growth of our most strategically significant customers.
Key to this is your ability to effectively manage an assigned territory of existing Learning Pool customers, engaging and growing our network of individual relationships. By understanding each customers’ strategy and key requirements and collaborating with subject matter expert colleagues, you’ll be able to build compelling Learning Pool solutions to deliver growth and contract longevity.
Customer Account Executives will focus primarily on growth through upselling (cross-selling and expansion) with the existing customer base. They will have a secondary responsibility for retention to ensure we are maintaining high retention rates. CAEs will be aligned in the same form and fashion as the AE teams per region. CAEs will also work closely with Relationship Managers (CSMs) to identify upsell opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
Location: Flexible within the USA (Central/Eastern timezones). Candidates must have eligibility to work without the requirement of visa sponsorship by Learning Pool.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Drive revenue growth through upselling (expansion and cross-sell) within existing accounts.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers, including economic buyers and champions in existing accounts, providing future strategy insight and value led ROI on their business & market.
  • Collaborate with CSMs to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Develop account plans that outlines a strategy for revenue growth in each account.
  • Active growth prospecting within your account base using a cadence software and other methods.
  • Plan and prioritize your book, activities, and meetings to ensure you are focused on your best opportunities.
  • Monitor account health and proactively address at-risk accounts.
  • Work with finance and legal teams to support the business with contracting, invoicing and payments.
  • Demonstrate sales operational excellence by using our CRM to track activities and accurate forecasting.
  • Attend and participate in quarterly business review meetings.
  • Be open, collaborative, and customer-focused in all communications and transactions both internally and externally
