Part of the Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub, our service provides support for people who are at risk of long-term unemployment including people with disabilities, young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) and Care experienced young people.
We are currently seeking a Strategic Employment Support (CYP) to provide support to the Strategic Lead for Inclusive Employment and the Manager (Education and Young People) helping to develop a sustainable offer for young people with SEND.
This role involves working to develop opportunities for young people who are furthest from the labour market, including those who are disabled, have work limiting health conditions, are refugees/asylum seekers or who have additional barriers to entering the labour market.
As well as working with customers to gain opportunities the Strategic Employment Support (CYP) will be responsible for line management of the Works for Me programme which works with young people of Gloucestershire that are NEET.
