Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Strategic Investment Management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educatio

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years work experience in one or a combination of: leveraged finance, capital markets, private capital, private equity, investment banking coverage or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with evaluating and executing transactions related to both the private and traditional institutional markets
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong integrity, work ethic, and a team player. High level of initiative and accountability
  • Ability to work independently or in teams and thrive in a fast paced, loosely-structured, entrepreneurial environment
  • Financial Modeling experience
  • Financial Analysis experience
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite-Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and organization, and ability to solve complex or abstract problems
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Business or related fiel

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in identifying new private capital opportunities for both our direct investing business as well as third party capital advisory engagements
  • Develop investor evaluation materials for capital advisory assignments and help manage investor outreach process logistics
  • Develop financial models related to assigned new opportunities
  • Complete due diligence requests, legal entity work, execution/closing processes, and other activities to prepare transactions for closing
  • Identify risk and reward in investment opportunities
  • Participate in the evaluation and ongoing monitoring of investments as part of a deal team
  • Develop network contacts to help drive opportunities for business development
  • Mentor and train less experienced staff

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel to different client markets as needed (
  • Registration FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
  • Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.

  • Salary ranges for this role are $120,400-$250,000 annually
