Team Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planner Sr. Manager to join DiDi SSL Marketing team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive brand strategies to enhance Our Brand’s and Business Units’ goals and presence across Spanish Speaking LATAM. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive analysis, along with proven experience in developing successful brand campaigns across various channels.
While this role is part of DiDi Studios, our Creative Organization within Marketing, you will also collaborate hand to hand with our Research, Media, MasterBrand, SocialMedia, Paid Advertising (Acquisition) and Frontline teams (Rides, Food and Fintech) in many different projects and challenges. DiDi Studios is part of the Global Center of Excellence organization at DiDi, which means that some of our strategic projects can impact global initiatives and the definition of DiDi’s strategic pillars!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with Marketing Frontline teams when building strategies, key briefs and projects for key target audiences.
  • Having a deep understanding of our Company’s and each Business Unit’s objectives and metrics.
  • Collaborating with our internal Research team when conducting thorough research and analysis of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation.
  • Collaborating with Creative and MasterBrand teams to build consistency among different media channels, formats and target audiences.
  • Collaborating with Research and Frontline teams to define and communicate unique and relevant RTB’s for all of our products.
  • Monitoring and evaluate the performance of brand initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Always staying up to date when it comes to industry developments and emerging trends to inform future brand strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Role Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in brand management, strategic planning, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful brand strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and ROI.
