QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA beneficial
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis or revenue management
- Proven track record in developing and implementing pricing strategies in B2B environment
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modelling and pricing tools (e.g., SAP, CRM tools etc.).
- Advanced BW experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with ASEAN countries and regional differences in pricing and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities:
- We are introducing this new role in our PS ASEAN team, which will be crucial for our efforts to become more competitive, win market share and increase our profitability.
- In the role of a Strategic Pricing Analyst, you will spearhead the development and implementation of the PS ASEAN pricing strategy to optimize profitability, increase competitiveness, and win market share. You will collaborate closely with the Business Line Managers, Sales Mangers to establish pricing models that align with the business strategy.
- In the role of Business Analyst, you will work closely with the SVP for PS ASEAN to use data-driven insights and market intelligence to support the business strategy development of PS in ASEAN i.e. topline growth and bottom-line improvement.
- Pricing Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective pricing strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness. These pricing strategies will be tailored to the ASEAN market.
- Establish pricing tools to balance market competitiveness, customer value, and margin optimization in day-to-day pricing decisions
- Drive dynamic pricing initiatives like campaigns using analytics and market intelligence.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer needs to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with Business Line Managers, Sales and the PS Division to create value-based pricing strategies for new and existing products.
- Align pricing initiatives and strategies with Laboratories, keeping feasibility and profitability in mind.
- Implementation and Management
- Lead the development and deployment of pricing tools and frameworks that have been defined in the pricing strategy for the PS Division in ASEAN
- Collaborate with sales to define and design systematic pricing tools and processes
- Standardize pricing processes across PS in ASEAN while allowing for localised adjustments based on market conditions.
- Monitor key pricing metrics and report on pricing performance to senior leadership
- Collaborate with the Business Line Managers and Sales Managers across ASEAN to ensure consistent and accurate pricing execution.
- Provide actionable insights to key stakeholders on pricing impacts and market positioning of Services
- Suggest pricing strategy adjustments as needed.
- Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct analysis of market trends, competitor pricing strategies and utilize data driven information to become more competitive in the market and win market share.
- Business Analyst:
- Establish and run regular BW reports for SVP to monitor key business performance indicators (topline and bottomline)
- Provide actionable insights to SVP and other key stakeholders based on actual business performance
