Description:

Let’s introduce ourselves
We’re a venture-scaler powered by CommBank. That means we build, buy, and invest in startups that could benefit the bank’s 15 million customers and beyond.
Because of what we do, we’re really neither corporate, nor startup – instead we’re happily navigating the space between both worlds. We’re close enough to benefit from the bank’s strategy, scale and stability, but separate enough that we have the autonomy to try new things.
To be a sandbox for change.
What it’s like to work here
We’re a community of galvanisers, thinkers , and doers. People from different backgrounds who come together in a brilliant collision of careers, ideas , and expertise . We know what we’re trying to achieve isn’t easy, but we’re up for the challenge.
We’re part of something bigger. We never lose sight of the impact we can have on people’s lives, and the role that each of us plays in shaping the bank of the future.
At x15 we’re guided by three values: care, courage, and commitment.
This means we’re led by both head and heart. We’re aware, attuned, and always act to help others. We’re more than just job titles and we don’t hide the human stuff, either.
We lead with grit and grace. We have a big bold vision, which so far no-one has nailed (including us). That excites, rather than deters us.
And whatever happens, we always find a way. We’re tenacious, resilient and we do what’s right – even if it’s hard.

  • Ability to build and foster relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Curiosity about new things and a hunger for taking accountability for finding solutions to challenging, ambiguous problems.

We’d also love it if you have :

  • Understanding of (and interest in ) modern and emerging technologies .
  • Start-up or scale-up experience, with an understanding of t heir common problems .

What could we mean for you?
Joining x15 gives you access to opportunities you won’t find in standalone corporate or start-up roles. The space between is where the magic happens!
You’d be joining a team of experts, united by a love of finding solutions and making an impact. That means considerable diversity in your day-to- day. In what other role would you get to work with early-stage start-ups, more mature ventures, and Australia’s leading bank, in a n environment that encourages fresh ideas and innovation?
We promise challenge in spades but believe this delivers intellectual stretch, growth, learning, and development. Working on things you’re truly passionate about, you’ll be exposed to big decision making and your work and actions will be on display .
