Description:
Do you have extensive experience in new business development within the education sector? Maybe you have a background in SAAS or technical sales? Want to join an organisation with a fantastic product offering who will give you the opportunity to pave the way for this sector?
Responsibilities:
You’ll need to be confident and well versed in dealing with entities within the education sector, from individual schools to multi-academy trusts. Knowledge of how to network within the industry and generate leads from a cold start is a must.
The products are all based around connectivity, think Wi-Fi, Fibre, Firewalls, Multi-site networks and Internet access.
This role is centred around opening up the education sector for an organisation already successful in many other sectors. It’s an exciting opportunity to tap into a market and grow a division within a business. You’ll have a commercial advantage due to this business having excellent rates on their products which will allow you to undercut competitors.
To support you, you’ll have a lead generator / admin support staff to help and there is plenty of training on the products you’ll be selling.
This role is less about the type of products you have sold and more about your ability to sell into the education sector. You’ll need to demonstrate experience doing this to a high level.
