about this team
The Strategic Sales Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting all activities associated with managing reporting and analysis for the Strategic Sales team. Providing analytical support to the Program Manager and Account Managers to maximize sales as well as optimize inventory. You will demonstrate business agility and strategic thinking, leveraging internal and external data to make fact-based decisions. You will build/maintain effective cross-functional relationships with Merchandising, Sales and Inventory Planning. The Senior Analyst will support with sales planning, forecasting and managing the team’s budget reporting. The candidate will report to the Manager of Analytics and Account Planning.

a day in the life: what you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain strong cross functional partnerships with various departments including but not limited to FP&A, MP&A, Digital and Tech Teams.
  • Compile data from all key cross functional partners to build a comprehensive forecast.
  • Responsible for Strategic Sales planning, reforecasting and budget planning and tracking.
  • Understand the business KPIs and develop daily and weekly reporting dashboards.
  • Produce ongoing sales reports and analyze trends in sales performance to identify root causes, risks, opportunities.
  • Identifies and implements solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify reporting processes.
  • Uses intentional listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise manner.
  • Present financial metrics to leadership teams at a monthly and quarterly basis as needed.
  • Query and manipulate partner data from multiple large-scale data sources and summarize the findings of your analysis, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Support business decisions via data-driven insights and recommendations.

qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in related field - Business, Finance, Retail, Inventory Management, Sales
  • Exceptional financial & business acumen understanding
  • Ability to work with a large amount of detail without losing sight of the big picture
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Power BI, Access, PowerPoint, Forms, and Word
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to conduct complex modeling and financial analysis
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; Self-starter approach to work
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field - Business, Data Analytics, statistics, mathematics

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-$135,900 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
