We are currently recruiting a Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Business Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will provide data analysis support, project management, and governance in the day-to-day operations of the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of Business Analyst experience, specifically within Supply Chain.
- Experience in the use of SAP and BI; Ariba experience would be considered an asset.
- Great attention to detail, organizational skills, and an analytical mindset to identify problems and turn them into solutions.
- Strong experience in creating business cases.
- Self-starter, works efficiently and independently, and can produce high-quality work.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple stakeholders while meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend complex concepts.
- Ability to analyze and understand business vision/data/requirements to support decision-making and effectively present information.
- Experience in process design and implementation.

Responsibilities:
- Work with all aspects of the business to analyze and understand the current Contract Management process and reporting.
- Develop strategies and process improvements that can be presented to senior management to drive and improve operations within our Procurement and Contract Management processes.
- Gather data from multiple systems, such as SAP and other software tools, that can be consolidated to provide accurate data for decision-making.
- Elicit and analyze business requirements, and create detailed documentation such as current and future state business processes, user experiences, sourcing data catalogs, and business policies/procedures.
- Own requirements, capture documentation, and coordinate sign-offs by business teams.
- Ensure traceability and coverage of all business requirements (functional/non-functional) during the QA cycles.
- Analyze data and develop reports that will assist Supply Chain Specialists and Buyers in improving data accuracy as well as sourcing event results.
- Develop scorecards and metrics that will be used in the development of process improvements.
- Create presentations that clearly turn data into information.
- Conduct process flow mapping and value stream mapping sessions to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify gaps and trends, perform analyses to determine root causes, and develop recommended solutions.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for the entire organization.
- Other duties may be assigned.
