SUMMARY
Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager, Packaging, this role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier selection and on-boarding, RFP/RFQ processes, supplier management for Packaging components. This role requires strong collaboration with internal customers and the ability to create strategic partnerships with suppliers.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Sourcing or Procurement within a high paced, multi-plant manufacturing environment
- A procurement accreditation such as CPM, CPP, SPSM, CIPS, or SCMP is a plus
- University Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Finance
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Office
- Good knowledge of ERP/MRP processes
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization both internally and externally in both written and oral form
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Experienced and capable of multi-tasking in a high-paced environment, working on several subjects and projects at the same time.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team members at plants and Packaging suppliers to source components as specified
- Launch RFQs as necessary, for existing Packaging components and new plant requirements
- Research and action long-term projects on process improvement, sustainability, cost-savings, and supplier improvement, working with internal and external teams to implement changes
- Negotiate contracts with new and existing suppliers to continuously reduce the total cost of ownership
- Follow strict food safety regulations for supplier onboarding; collaborate with the Supplier Quality Standards team at FGF for supplier approval
- Accountable for supplier management (this includes OTIF, quality performance, monitoring, continuous improvement with direct impact on efficiency)
- Comply with internal requirement of storing sourcing files and data
- Continuously search for the right cost reduction, innovation, and sustainability opportunities, and work with internal teams (R&D, Product Lifecycle Management, Production, Engineering, etc) to implement such changes
