ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Strategist to lead our communications efforts in the learning and development, career growth, and digital platforms space. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies and initiatives aimed at learning and development initiatives, critical upskilling and project opportunities, and professional growth initiatives to our employees and future talent, with a focus on leveraging digital platforms and tools to create a great employee experience.

THE SKILLS YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in corporate communications, with a focus on brand, internal communications, employee engagement, and digital communication strategies.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies within global matrixed organizations, multi-channel activations and measurement – both internal and external, with a strong emphasis on engagement, digital platforms and tools.
  • Strong understanding of learning and development principles, career advancement practices, and digital communication best practices, as well as initiatives to improve the employee experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and content for a diverse employee audience.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously aimed at improving the employee experience
  • Strong understanding of change management, senior leader business partnering, and initiatives to improve the employee experience.
  • Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms, including intranet systems, email marketing software, social media platforms, and other relevant technologies. Mastery of digital innovation tools and AI tools experience is a differentiator.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to effectively communicate critical skills, learning and development programs, career growth opportunities, and professional development initiatives to employees, leveraging digital platforms and tools.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR/People, Learning and Development teams, Data and People Analytics and senior leadership to understand business objectives and align communication efforts with organizational goals, with a particular focus on digital communication best practices. Role includes active membership on Learning and Development leadership team.
  • Create and manage content for various digital communication channels, including intranet, email, social media, and other internal platforms, to ensure consistent and effective messaging in the digital space.
  • Lead the development and execution of employee engagement campaigns and initiatives that leverage digital platforms to promote a culture of continuous learning and career development, while also enhancing the overall employee experience.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on digital communication best practices and recommend innovative approaches to enhance employee engagement and support career growth through digital channels, with a focus on improving the employee experience.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of digital communication initiatives and make data-driven adjustments to optimize impact and engagement in the digital space, while also measuring improvements in the employee experience.
