JOB DESCRIPTION:
AT&T’s Wireline Transformation and Supply Chain (WTSC) Strategy Team focuses on collaborative problem-solving, strategic analysis, and analytical support to directly impact billions of dollars of AT&T’s cost structure and future investments, while driving best-in-class practices across AT&T’s vast supply chain and wireline networks.
Our Strategy Analysts work in small teams to support and lead projects and craft actionable, innovative recommendations for AT&T’s senior leadership. You’ll analyze the impact of industry trends, emerging technologies, macroeconomic & competitive factors, and third-party supplier spend & engagement.
You’ll provide:
- Support for thought leadership and strategic analysis on fast-paced, complex opportunities and challenges facing AT&T’s Wireline Transformation and Supply Chain organization
- Fact-based negotiation support, including industry analytics, competitive event strategy, and “should cost” negotiation benchmarking
- Best-in-class market intelligence including M&A monitoring, supplier financial health assessments, and supply chain visibility to best position AT&T for success
- Support for creative, strategic solutions to drive meaningful transformation for AT&T’s operations and cost structure

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of experience with management consulting, analytics, strategy, or other related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a Supply Chain related field
- Strategic mindset and strong analytical skills
- Ability to provide structured thinking to deconstruct complex problems and help advance strategic initiatives with data-driven solutions
- Ability to work with multiple sources of data to develop financial and operational models
- Strong communication (both oral and written) skills and presentation skills
- Effective leadership and teamwork skills working with cross-functional teams
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering against tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or another highly strategic/analytical role; ideally with exposure to the telecommunications or technology industries
- Exposure to software, mechanical, and electrical engineering concepts
