REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools including Looker
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in workforce management and dialler systems is an advantage

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY

The Strategy Analyst is crucial in connecting operational execution with strategic planning in the SMB Hub. This role is tailored for a professional skilled in using data-driven insights to support strategic initiatives and enhance performance. The Strategy Analyst will work closely with operational teams and senior leadership to ensure alignment with organisational goals. This position suits someone with a strong analytical background and a passion for strategic development in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior management, to provide insights and recommendations that align with the company’s goals. Your ability to analyse complex data, think critically, and communicate effectively is essential. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for driving business growth.

  • Conducting financial and operational analysis to develop strategic initiatives that make a material difference to the outputs within the SMB operation/sector. Is able to tie analytical output to the business problem it’s trying to solve
  • Collaboration with cross functional areas such as data analytics, data science and operational improvement teams to effectively assess performance and in turn fix root cause to drive long term efficiencies and accurate reporting for our teams
  • Generate actionable insights to inform decision-making processes and enhance operational performance, evaluating the effectiveness of existing strategies and recommend data-driven improvements
  • Proficient in documenting and presenting analysis methodologies, techniques and results to team members, project stakeholders and senior management
  • Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, using visualisations where useful
  • Can conduct reproducible descriptive analyses of well-formulated questions based on well-defined data sets for stakeholders, clearly documenting any assumptions and caveats, and highlighting the level of variance observed in the data
  • Has a solid understanding of relevant analytical frameworks and tools within the team. Has comprehensive knowledge of data required to conduct analysis within their team’s domain
  • Can use methods like impact sizing to quantifying the potential impact of an idea or initiative, from baselines creations through to summarising finds and recommendations
