ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a globally minded, critical thinker, and self-starter who is passionate about plant-based food and what makes consumers tick. The global Violife team is a lean, dynamic, and entrepreneurial team within the larger Upfield organization and has a big ambition to step change the Plant-Based Cheese category and bring the Violife brand to billion-dollar status by 2030. Comfort with ambiguity in a fast paced, global, and matrixed environment will be critical to thriving in this role. The Senior Strategy & Transformation Analyst will be expected to be a Swiss army knife providing everything from cross-functional project management to analytical firepower, working with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the Upfield organization.

SKILLS, BEHAVIORS, AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Trailblazer with “Always Day 1” mindset. Driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in management consulting and CPG
  • Strong strategic and analytical skillset with fluency in Excel and PowerPoint and ability to derive insight from data.
  • Disciplined project management and organizational skills
  • Experience working across geographies. Role includes some travel to and close partnership with markets across North America and Europe.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experience with Nielsen, Euromonitor, and other syndicated / market research resources
  • Passionate about the food industry and the plant-based food movement.
    Compensation range: Base salary $120K to $140K based on experience, expertise and other legitimate, non-discriminatory factors. Position includes annual bonus opportunity and other competitive health and welfare benefits.

ABOUT THE COMPANY & ROLE

We are on a mission to transform the future of food and are looking for a rock-star Senior Strategy & Transformation Analyst for the Global Violife business to help us blaze this trail.

ABOUT THE ROLE!

This role will report directly to the Global Head of Strategy & Transformation for Violife and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business, with significant exposure to the Global President & Chief Growth Office (CGO) for Violife. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive priority strategy & transformation projects (e.g., channel strategy, portfolio rationalization, etc.), often including leading global, cross-functional teams.
  • Thought partnership and support running the office of the Global Violife President & CGO, including preparing for key senior leadership and board of directors meetings.
  • Synthesize consumer & market insights (CMI) needs across markets to develop a global learning plan and support execution of priority CMI projects.
  • Manage recurring C-Suite communication on business performance in partnership with local market leads.
  • Support recurring strategic planning initiatives, including close partnership with markets to develop both long term and annual plans.
  • Ad hoc analysis to support priority C-Suite requests often including P&L and / or syndicated data analysis (e.g., attractiveness of adjacent categories, competitive benchmarking, etc.)
