KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must have experience playing ice hockey, or familiarity with the sport.
- Video/audio production knowledge is a big plus.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Proficient verbal and written English
- Focused, diligent, and detail oriented
- Able to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends (at least two of Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
The role of the Streaming Game Monitor, Seasonal Part Time will be working on our FloSports Streaming Operations Department. We are looking for hardworking and dedicated employees that excel in a fast paced working environment. We broadcast roughly 30,000 live games annually. We are looking for support to cover the hockey season (Aug 1, 2024 to May 1, 2025).
This role will be required to work out of our Waterloo Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring and reporting issues related to overall stream quality, video quality, and audio quality.
- Work directly with individual hockey teams operations staff to properly troubleshoot issues before and during their broadcast.
- Report, and troubleshoot in-game issues in a timely manner with the on-site staff.
- Fill out documentation recapping any issues with the nightly broadcast schedule.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
- On a day-to-day basis, reporting will be through the Team Lead, SOC or the Manager, SOC.
- Overall report to Senior Manager, SOC.
