Description:
STREET PRICING CONSULTANT
- Join a dynamic GI Pricing department with over 100 talented professionals with a common goal of setting fair and accurate prices for our customers
- Play an active role in setting the pricing strategy for our Personal Lines products
- Work from home up to 80% of the time, fostering a work-life balance that suits your lifestyle
Responsibilities:
Our Pricing Department is a well-established and thriving function which focuses on delivering long term value for our customers rather than working to short-term profit targets. This role sits within the Personal Lines Pricing team and will focus on formulating and achieving the pricing strategy for our Personal Lines products with a particular emphasis on assessing the accuracy of our pricing models, as well as determining the final price charged to the customers.
As a Street Pricing Consultant, you’ll be responsible for recommending and managing portfolio pricing strategies through analysing internal and external data sets, utilising various pricing models and working closely with the wider Pricing Department, such as Data, Modelling and Risk Pricing teams, and external stakeholders, including Underwriting, Distribution, Claims and Reserving.
You’ll be actively involved with monitoring and improving the integrity and accuracy of pricing models and you’ll conduct regular scenario planning and impact assessments of potential pricing actions on key metrics such as conversation rates, retention rates and profitability. You will also coach and mentor more junior colleagues supporting their development and helping with technical queries.
