Description:
Job Title: Stress Analyst
Opportunity Description: Searching for Stress Analysts to support the Orion Stress Team to support a surge effort to provide stress analysis documentation for the verification of the Artemis 2 vehicle. Analysts of all experience levels and either full or part time availability are welcome. Telecommute potentially. 3 FTE September thru March
Required Skills: Candidate shall have the following required skills:
- Experience with finite element analysis (Nastran)
- Experience with classical hand calculations
- Experience with fatigue analysis
Desired Skills: The following skills are desired:
- Experience with FEMAP
- Experience with Slim
- Knowledge of fracture analysis and NASA’s fracture control system
- Experience with aero shell and/or thermal protection system analysis
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree / Experience Preferred
