We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Stress Engineers / Analysts. Based in Bamber Bridge, Preston offices, you will be assigned to a major new defence project, where your skills and experience in Structural Analysis / FEA will be fully utilized.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities within your role will include (but not limited to):

  • Interfacing with UK based Team to understand technical issues / specifications and requirements
  • Undertaking Finite Element Analysis Simulations using Abaqus CAE of marine structural seats / brackets / bolts
  • Work with the customer to determine solutions for failed simulations
  • Writing Analysis reports
  • Producing quality while keeping within project budgets & time constraints and potentially changing requirements
  • Apply correct processes, specifications procedures & techniques working with support from specialist teams

Qualifications:

  • BEng Degree in Engineering discipline

Desired Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of structures, design and project delivery.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, manage multiple projects, and drive results.

Experience:

  • 8 years experience in undertaking Linear and Non-Linear finite element analysis
  • 8 years experience in Hand analysis
