We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Stress Engineers / Analysts. Based in Bamber Bridge, Preston offices, you will be assigned to a major new defence project, where your skills and experience in Structural Analysis / FEA will be fully utilized.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities within your role will include (but not limited to):
- Interfacing with UK based Team to understand technical issues / specifications and requirements
- Undertaking Finite Element Analysis Simulations using Abaqus CAE of marine structural seats / brackets / bolts
- Work with the customer to determine solutions for failed simulations
- Writing Analysis reports
- Producing quality while keeping within project budgets & time constraints and potentially changing requirements
- Apply correct processes, specifications procedures & techniques working with support from specialist teams
Qualifications:
- BEng Degree in Engineering discipline
Desired Skills:
- Deep knowledge of structures, design and project delivery.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, manage multiple projects, and drive results.
Experience:
- 8 years experience in undertaking Linear and Non-Linear finite element analysis
- 8 years experience in Hand analysis
