Description:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Utilizes computational methods and tools in specialized field (e.g., strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance).
  • Performs pre-dimensioning computations through analytical or digital methods, assessing data credibility and results.
  • Participates in creating measurement plans for tests and conducts result analysis.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in structural mechanics simulation software such as NASTRAN and PATRAN.
  • Experienced with UNIX computer systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in aircraft primary structure design.
  • Hand analysis of aerospace structures
  • Ability to analyze aircraft subsystems and installations.
  • Capable of interpreting various types of technical drawings (detail, assembly, installation)
  • Familiarity with additional tools like CATIA V5 or Siemens NX is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Slim, Vision, and IDAT a plus

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree & 9+ years of related work experience is required
