Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive steel and concrete structure drawings for fabrication and installation using AutoCAD;
- Create detailed structural drawings, including erection plans, connections and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure alignment and accuracy with minimal supervision;
- Modify and revise designs to address deficiencies, incorporate instructions, comments, feedback and update connection details as needed;
- Conduct clash detection of structural models with models from other disciplines to identify and resolve conflicts;
- Review and update existing drawings and documentation to reflect modifications made to existing structures on-site, ensuring accuracy and compliance;
- Maintain organization and accuracy within the existing drawing database, ensuring records are up to date;
- Prepare contract drawings, manage record-keeping, and perform other statistical work as required;
- Verify on-site conditions, dimensions, and existing structural details to ensure they align with new design requirements and specifications;
- Ensure effective coordination and communication with designers, drafters, and engineers within the discipline and across other disciplines;
- Collaborate with project managers to align structural design work with the overall project goals and client objectives, ensuring timely and accurate delivery;
- Assist in reviewing and resolving steel fabrication and installation issues on-site, proposing modifications and adjustments to designs as necessary
