• Minimum 5 years of structural drafting experience in the UAE, preferably with a contracting company.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
• Strong understanding of structural detailing and UAE construction standards.
• Familiarity with preparing shop drawings and coordination with other disciplines.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to project requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Structural CAD Draftsman ensures that structural designs are effectively communicated and accurately implemented, minimizing errors, delays, and costs during construction. Their meticulous work is critical to the safety, durability, and success of any structural project.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare detailed structural CAD drawings for various construction projects, including shop drawings and as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with structural engineers and project managers to understand design requirements and implement them accurately in the drawings.
• Review architectural and MEP drawings to ensure proper coordination with structural layouts.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with project specifications, local standards, and client requirements.
• Revise and update drawings as required during the project lifecycle.
• Maintain an organized filing system for drawings and project documentation.
