Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking to hire a structural engineers to supervise our technical personnel, assess operational processes, and ensure construction projects are executed within established timelines.

- Experience Level : Senior level
- Experience Length : 10 years
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- The candidate should have 10 - 14 years’ experience in Building construction. COREN Certification is a must-have.
- PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
- Proven experience as a construction project manager.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Familiarity with construction/ project management/structural engineering software
Responsibilities:
- Approve completion of tasks in accordance with specified requirements across all zones under supervision.
- Ensure that penalties are appropriately applied for poor sign-offs, substandard work, and delays in alignment with the approved sanction grid.
- Responsibly address and resolve all defects covered by payment within one week.
- Participate in technical meetings both within and outside the company, offering advice, proposing solutions, and interpreting technical reports for or on behalf of the company as authorized.
- Develop a site logistics plan upon the initiation of a new project scheme and continually review these plans throughout the project’s duration.
- Engage with consultants to gain a thorough understanding of their proposed solutions and convey the information to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
- Conduct regular weekly meetings with Project Managers to discuss work schedules, logistics planning, and issue resolution.
- The meetings should follow a structured reporting format, addressing all issues, with significant matters escalated to management.
- Prepare Technical Memos and reports for COO consideration, providing insights, reviews, and discussions on project-related matters.
- Conduct orientation and awareness sessions with contractors every second Saturday of each quarter.
- Drive quarterly objectives every week, reporting performance to ensure Technical Operations stays on course and achieves its 90-day objectives.
- Generate weekly reports for the supervised zones, adhering to the provided template
- Scrutinize structural drawings to identify errors, defects, and opportunities for cost optimization, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Undertake any additional assignments delegated by the COO as the need arises.
- Oversee the performance of the project managers and resolve all conflicts.
