GOOD TO KNOW

  • Full-time permanent position
  • 8 hour days, working on site in our Calgary facility

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.)in good standing with APEGA (additional registration with APEGS, and/or EGBC an asset)
  • Minimum of 4years’ experience in Canadian industrial and/or commercial structural steel design
  • Strong background in all applicable National and Provincial building codes, and industry standards.
  • Experience using structural engineering software such as Graitec AD, or similar software such as S-Frame or STAAD Pro.
  • Experience using AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Highly professional and effective verbal communication skills and strong ability to express ideas clearly and enthusiastically.
  • Practical, “can-do” approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently or as a member of a team.
  • A commitment to ethical business practices and high personal integrity

OTHERREQUIREMENTS

  • Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation.
