OUR BUSINESS
Fairport Tunnelling Technologies (FTT) became a newly established division of Fairport Engineering Limited in 2021. Fairport Engineering Limited have now been acquired by pxGroup and as a result FTT has now become pxFairport.
We are an Engineering and Projects Delivery business specialising in the design, installation, management and consultancy of bulk material handling systems across a number of sectors, with specific expertise in tunnelling, aggregates and ports. With long standing industry expertise, our recent history includes successfully delivering projects in the UK, Europe and Asian markets.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Previous experience within a similar field; designing structures for materials handling/processing equipment.
- Experience working to the latest BS & Eurocode design standards.
- Proficient in the use of licenced design software, such as Tekla Designer and S-Frame.
- Comprehensive understanding of CE/UKCA regulations including design risk assessments.
