  As a Structural Engineer at Sydney Water, you will support design reviews, update standards, implement the Engineering Assurance framework, and provide technical expertise.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil or structural discipline, that is recognised under the Washington Accord or Engineers Australia, with relevant experience in Structural Engineering.
• A drivers license (C class).
• Approximately five (5) years of experience predominantly in structural design
• Demonstrated experience in structural design of water retaining structures
• Ability to investigate and challenge Sydney Water standards, Australian and international standards, and industry practise to ensure that the organisation can innovative solutions.
• Exposure in working in a multi-disciplinary design team.

• Assist in the identification, creation and active management of technical specifications, standards and guidelines related to Structural engineering
• Assist in evaluating innovation in Structural Engineering aspects, maintaining oversight and processing deviation requests to relevant technical guidelines, standards and specifications
• Provide input to the definition of information, insights, data, systems, models and tools required for engineering and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information.
