LOOKING TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR UPCOMING INTERNSHIP?

Hatch is seeking a dynamic Civil Engineering Student for a 4-month co-op starting in May 2025. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in the field of Structural Engineering to assist the Structural Discipline at our Vancouver, BC office. The role is to provide review, analysis and design support, and research of material for the Engineers and other Technologists.

Responsibilities:

  • 3rd or 4th year student working toward a degree in Civil Engineering with specific interest in structural analysis and design. Successful completion of, or enrollment in structural engineering courses is required.
  • Familiarity with CAD/Design software applications such as MathCAD, Excel, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, MicroStation and AutoCAD will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated writing and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
  • High regard for job safety and quality work; Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Extracurricular involvement; enthusiastic and ambitious.
