Now’s your opportunity to make a meaningful impact! Tap into your TAVI expertise and passion for education to elevate our cutting-edge product portfolio. Your role will be to arm our sales teams with the essential knowledge and skills to confidently promote and sell Medtronic’s TAVI therapy, while also ensuring safe and effective case support. You’ll take the lead in driving training initiatives for our Structural Heart (SH) products across Western Europe, empowering others to excel in sales and beyond.
By blending your experience in sales, procedural support and preferably training, you’ll create and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing employees throughout the region. You will work closely together with global FTD partners as well as with SH country teams, marketing, and medical education. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert with respect to training employees in need of product, procedural or sales training to support the business in Western Europe (WE)
  • Analyze clinical papers and create educational content out of the analysis
  • Provide both classroom as well as virtual and in country Commercial & Clinical training.
  • Administer oral and written examinations to field employees for certification and competency validation
  • Collaborate with the Global team to help design and implement quality initiatives to promote positive procedure outcomes; including reviews, product complaints and investigations
  • Ensure consistent delivery of product & procedural training curriculum across WE for different training offers
  • Provide cross-functional representation and support to Physician Education (MedEd), Sales and Marketing Departments (up & down-stream), R & D and Clinical Affairs Departments
  • Collaborate with country sales and clinical leaders to ensure understanding of their geography specific market dynamics and learning needs
  • Recognize and understand competitive products, industry trends to include competitive selling talk tracks into all training curriculums will be an important focus of your role
  • Stay current with therapy growth trends, society guidelines, and market dynamics will be critical to your successful assessment of future learning needs and recommendations for ongoing enhancements to curriculum. Champion innovation across Council, eventually recommending programs or projects, as well as conceptualizing and developing new approaches

Required knowledge and experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a field sale, clinical, training, or technical role
  • TAVI Sales experience or TAVI Case support expertise throughout Europe, with proven results.
  • Availability to travel for a 40% of working time
  • Fluency in English, with preferably a second other European language (German, French, Spanish or Italian)
  • Excellent influencing and consulting skills, with also excellent interpersonal and written communication
  • Experience in Workshop development and creation to meet training needs, along with a detailed understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, pathology
  • Ability to make timely and sound decisions, with a proven history of being a product and procedural expert and resource for your team, along with a capability to effectively organize and plan travel with frequent last-minute requests and changes and build strong relationships with key users and internal employees across all organizational levels
