Description:

EXPERIENCE:

5-10 years of experience in drafting or coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with various departments (management, manufacturing, painting, transportation, and construction) and ensuring the successful completion of a project during the engineering and 3D modeling / drawing phase, considering best manufacturing and construction practices.
  • Collaborating with project management to define the scope of work, synthesizing all elements requiring special coordination, and assisting the project manager in this coordination task.
  • Collaborating with connection and construction engineering as well as the drawing/internal verification department to ensure that 3D model and shop drawings meet the expectations of the aforementioned departments.
  • Actively participating in internal and external project technical meetings with the client, engineers, and architects as well as with various ADF subcontractors and the contractor.
  • Developing technical questions and following up with the client and our various subcontractors.
  • Requesting and obtaining technical information from other contractors on the project to finalize the 3D model, drawings and connection engineering.
  • Evaluating the drawing budget, reviewing the schedule, and planning necessary resources.
  • Planning and managing schedules as well as progress reports on various simultaneous projects in which he is involved.
  • Controlling the budget for drawing completion, validating and approving invoices.
  • Evaluating additional costs due to contractual changes, assisting the project manager.
  • Ensuring the application of ADF standards as well as project-specific directives.
  • Following up and updating documents and transferring technical information to all stakeholders.
  • Conducting post-mortem reviews of projects to ensure continuous improvement, best work practices, and innovation on future projects.
