Your Tasks

• Analyse structure as classical static Stress Analysis and Finite Element analysis of metallic and composite airframe structure with particular emphasis to the Engine Mount and Installation area, in both a development and certification-oriented environment
• Support to fireproof and fire resistant requirement assessment and demonstration
• Preparation of stress notes, formal engineering analysis reports, test plans and test reports including fire resistance test
• Support analytical cross functional, internal liaison and potential for direct liaison and support with external supplier companies and the airworthiness authorities

With this you convince us

• University degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience in Stress Analysis specifically in the Aerospace sector
• Familiarity with NASTRAN (MSC/NX), FEMAP or similar Finite Element packages
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office is needed and knowledge of Mathcad would be advantageous
• English language skills on level C1 or better with German knowledge as an advantage
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, be self-tasking and organized and be able to work under challenging timescales in a dynamic and responsive environment
