REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree must be in Accounting or related field.
  • Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Two (2) years of accounting related work experience.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED

  • Title IV Regulation experience (ideal, but not required)
  • SAP financial software experience
  • PeopleSoft SIS software experience
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft product

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain student accounts and prepare Return to Title IV calculations.
  • Maintain, analyze and reconcile funds.
  • Monitor and interpret student financial data in the development of maintaining accurate student records and reporting.
  • Prepare complex student financial analysis.
  • Perform internal auditing or financial review of student records.
  • Ensure completeness and compliance with university, local, state and federal requirements and standard accounting and audit procedures including all compliance Title IV Regulations.
  • Analyze complex student financial data and prepare reports.
  • Recommend control systems.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed over time.
