REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree must be in Accounting or related field.
- Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years of accounting related work experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
- Title IV Regulation experience (ideal, but not required)
- SAP financial software experience
- PeopleSoft SIS software experience
- Intermediate user of Microsoft product
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain student accounts and prepare Return to Title IV calculations.
- Maintain, analyze and reconcile funds.
- Monitor and interpret student financial data in the development of maintaining accurate student records and reporting.
- Prepare complex student financial analysis.
- Perform internal auditing or financial review of student records.
- Ensure completeness and compliance with university, local, state and federal requirements and standard accounting and audit procedures including all compliance Title IV Regulations.
- Analyze complex student financial data and prepare reports.
- Recommend control systems.
- Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed over time.
