We specialize in IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE, and Canadian Tax regulations, offering in-depth analysis and practical guidance to professionals across the accounting industry.
Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Student Accounting Technical Researcher to join our team. This role involves researching and analyzing recent updates in IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE policies, and Canadian tax rules. You will be responsible for drafting clear, concise narratives that communicate these updates to our audience in an accessible and informative manner. Note must be doing an Accounting degree from an accredited Canadian University all other applications will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE policy changes, and Canadian tax rule updates.
- Analyze and interpret complex accounting standards and regulations.
- Draft detailed and engaging narrative-style summaries of technical accounting updates.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure accuracy and clarity of information.
- Stay current with emerging trends and developments in accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Assist in the development of educational materials and resources for our platform.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a degree in specializing in Accounting at a Canadian University. Preference will be given to third year students.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE).
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Superior written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with Canadian tax regulations.
- Experience in technical writing or creating educational content.
- Knowledge of accounting IFRS, US GAAP and ASPE
- Be able to independently research tools.
