Salary package: $81,318 - $88,709 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Fixed term (up to 12 months)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Division of Student Administration and Academic Services (DSAAS) is within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Portfolio. DSAAS is responsible for the administrative support of students through the student lifecycle from when an offer is made through to the completion of their studies and graduation. Activities of the Division includes admissions, general student enquiries, enrolment, class timetabling, program management, financial transactions, scholarship management, examination management, legislative compliance in relation to students and the curriculum management. The Division also provides advice for appeals, grievance, academic misconduct and discipline processes.
The position is within the Examinations, Graduations, Academic Progression, Prizes and Timetabling Office (EGAPPT), Division of Student Administration and Academic Services (DSAAS) and reports to the Deputy Manager. This position will provide advice on university policies and procedures to current and past students, in particular with regard to coursework examinations, graduations, academic progression, prizes and timetabling. The role has a strong focus on customer service and requires versatility, creativity, and integrity to deliver practical and supportive outcomes for students through the delivery of administrative services. The role may require working across several teams or be focussed mainly in one area, depending on resourcing and demand in peak periods.
