Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
Provide effective and efficient administrative support for the Supporter Engagement Team, helping with organisational tasks, assist with day-to-day administration specifically dealing with our alumni and donor enquiries, assisting with thanking and acknowledging support to the University, collecting media content from funding recipients, alumni or donors, providing support with updating the alumni database and general data tasks.
MAIN DUTIES
- Assist the Supporter Engagement Team with gift acknowledgement and donor stewardship activities by drafting letters, emails, following up phone calls and enquires and collating materials for web and social media content as required.
- Provide efficient administrative support to assist with the smooth operation of the work area, such as dealing with donor enquiries, student caller daily requirements, dealing with phone enquiries and follow-up.
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of fundraising web pages, as well as contributing content and messaging on various social media channels.
- Working evenings and weekends during the telephone campaign to assist with the running of shifts, processing of gifts, managing of rota, handling student issues and assisting with call room morale.
Assisting with the proofreading, chasing, printing and preparing of Chancellor’s Fund application packs for board members.
Assisting with events such as Open Days, Offer Holder Days, Giving Days, Donor Events, and general in-person activity that require the post holder to assist in welcoming donors, alumni or students to department-led events.
- In line with other administrative roles within the ER Directorate, be prepared to take on other priority tasks, over and above those set out above, as required.
