Edison College Canada is currently seeking a full-time Student Admissions Advisor (Sales & Marketing) for immediate hire. Our Advisors are dedicated to assisting potential students in selecting and enrolling in their ideal program. The position is best suited for highly competent, energetic, and exceptionally motivated individuals –a positive attitude and friendly demeanor are key to success. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in achieving sales targets is an asset.
  • Experience in a post-secondary education institution is an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of an Admissions process within a post-secondary environment demonstrating knowledge of Admission criteria, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent ability to perform tasks with accuracy, promptness, and minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Superior skills in the delivery of student services.
    Education: Bachelor’s Degree. (preferred)
    Experience: One Year in sales. (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment through warm calling, student interviews, information sessions, and booking appointments for admissions.
  • Follow up with prospective students for any inquiries through direct meetings, live chat, phone calls, and emails to book appointments for admissions.
  • Assist prospective students in their career exploration.
  • Advise prospective students about the programs offered, admissions procedures, eligibility, costs involved, and financial assistance services.
  • Exceed the admission enrollment sales quotas set by the College.
  • Provide clarifications to prospective students’ queries in a professional manner.
  • Assist prospective students with the admission process.
  • Participate in recruitment events, open houses, school fairs, information sessions, exhibitions, school visits, and off-campus events.
  • Arrange orientation programs, educational workshops, and graduate programs for students.
  • Manage the college’s online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and email marketing.
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote college programs, events, and achievements.
  • Provide support to prepare admission-related presentations and host student receptions.
  • Maintain a database of student information, telephone logs, and student feedback to generate student reports for management whenever required.
  • Warmly greet students, staff, and visitors and provide professional assistance.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, direct them to the appropriate department, and take messages when necessary.
  • Support various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Manage the college’s online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and email marketing.
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote college programs, events, and achievements.
