About the team Lifetime Learner Experience (LLE) Unit is part of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Students portfolio and was formed in 2021 to enable the alignment of a range of learner acquisition, administration and assurance activities which are critical to the success of the UTS 2027 Strategy and in supporting the UTS Vision.The LLE Unit consists of three (3) functions:• Future Learners – approx. 100 FTE• Current Learners – approx. 100 FTE• Operations – approx. 25 FTE (excludes casuals)The Future Learners Team is recruiting for two (2) Student Advisors (International Pathway Programs). About the role The Student Advisor (International Pathway Programs) is responsible for the efficient processing of pathway applications includes assessment of qualifications, assessment of English language proficiency, and applying approved articulation arrangements. The incumbent is also responsible for pathway student engagement and required to promote UTS Pathway Programs by participating in student recruitment and engagement activities, and maintaining the admissions database for pathway arrangements. If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for:• Efficient processing of pathway applications from international pathway students based on the approved articulation arrangements in a timely manner. Applying scholarships for pathway applicants in accordance with established guidelines. • Overseeing pathway application inquiries from students and pathway partners, provide support to establish a smooth operation of admission, enrolment and support process for pathway students. • Supporting the monitoring of academic performance for international pathway students.• Promoting UTS pathway programs to prospective international pathway students. Ensuring that a high level of customer service is provided to prospective international pathway students, agents and partners.• Working with the Pathway Manager, Pathway Programs Officers and Pathway Development Coordinators to support the annual Pathway Partner Development Program. • Managing and updating records for Pathways team, including project lists and pathway program spreadsheets, etc. Remuneration/Salary Base Salary Range: $ 80,044 to $91,570 pa (HEW 5) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. This position is a full-time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
